Cub Scout Pack 23 was originally chartered over thirty years ago at W.T. Moore Elementary School in Tallahassee, Florida. Since February 1987, the Pack has been chartered (sponsored) by Killearn United Methodist Church (KUMC) in Tallahassee, Florida and is an integral part of Killearn Kids Ministries at the church. Our Pack is a member of the Suwannee River Area Council (SRAC) of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA).

On any given year, the Pack has between 50 and 70 registered scouts, ranging from 1st through 5th grade. Approximately half of the scouts in the Pack are members of KUMC. Non-member scouts usually attend local schools in the vicinity of the church, with most scouts coming from De Soto Trails and Roberts Elementary Schools.

Regular Pack (all boys, leaders and parents) and Den (age/grade groups) meetings are scheduled on Thursday evenings, using the meeting rooms at KUMC. Click here for a map. The Pack meetings are scheduled for the third Thursday of each month starting in August and ending in May, corresponding with the school year. Individual den meetings are usually held twice a month, based on the preferences of each den.
